“My name is Ahlem. I was sent out by Bethany Baptist Church in Yangon. We are serving in the mission field of Mudon, Mon State, where the gospel has never been preached yet”

I grew up in a Christian family. I had been to church and Sunday school many times, yet I still had no understanding of what it meant to be born again. In 2011, my family moved to Yangon. I met the pastor of Bethany Baptist Church and attended a summer camp at the church. There, I heard the preaching of the gospel, including the verse, “For by grace are ye saved through faith.” I have never heard that verse before. As Pastor explained the verse, I understood the message of salvation and accepted the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior and Lord.
