Mon State (မြန်မာ: မွန်ပြည်နယ်) is one of the 14 administrative divisions of Myanmar, located in the southern part of the country along the Andaman Sea. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, beautiful beaches, and important historical significance, especially in relation to the Mon people, one of the earliest ethnic groups to settle in Southeast Asia.

Mon State stretches from the southern tip of Bago Region down to the northern border of Tanintharyi Region. The state shares a border with Thailand to the east, Kayin State to the north, and the Andaman Sea to the west. Its two largest cities are Mawlamyine (the capital) and Thaton. The terrain is a mix of low coastal plains and hilly inland regions.
